On Monday 14th March we held our annual International Speech and Evaluation Contest at St Piran’s Hall. Our Contest Chair, Lorraine Hamilton, did a fabulous job in navigating us through the evening and engaging the audience with questions whilst we waited for the final votes to be counted. The competition was fierce and it was a great opportunity to showcase some of our best speakers.
The final results were as follows:
- Chris Boden was awarded first place in the International Speech Contest
- Steve Catchick was awarded first place in the Evaluation Contest
- Tony Searby was placed second in both Contests
Congratulations to all the participants, Chris and Steve will now advance to the Area 21 Contest. Thank you to everyone who contributed in making the evening a great success.
